Introduced Biometric
Devices in Gujarat
We began by pioneering biometric time tracking across Gujarat—laying the
foundation for smart attendance.

2006
Introduced Time Office Software
We developed Time Office software with the help of input from various HR professionals.

2008
The Rajpipla Project
Installed biometric devices in more than 600 primary school of the Rajpipla district of Gujarat, inaugurated by then CM of Gujarat, Mr. Narendra Modi.

2010
Introduced more advanced Samay software
Developed the Samay software that integrated the attendance, leave management, policies, and shift management.

2011
Updated Samay from Desktop to Web
With the rise of Web 2.0, Samay was implemented on the web for easy access from anywhere with the help of the internet.

2015
Reached 5000 customers across India
We acquired 5000 customers in total hailing from across India.

2021
Tempus Central was introduced
Post COVID-19 hit, with the inputs from HRs, cloud-based Tempus Central was introduced with Tempus People and Tempus Payroll modules.

2023
Tempus Contractor was added as the module
With the great demand to manage contingent workforce, contractor module was introduced.

Tempus a.EYE introduced
AI face recognition mobile app was introduced for attendance management at remote places.

A CIPL Innovation for the Modern Workforce
- We began our journey in 2003 by introducing the attendance biometric devices across Gujarat. Listening closely to the challenges faced by HR professionals, we launched Time Office in 2006, marking the beginning of our commitment to redefining HR workflows.
- With the stones rolling, we developed a much-sophisticated desktop software in 2010 – Samay to manage attendance, leave, policies, and shifts. Samay desktop got a major update in 2011 – Samay web, shaped by real-world HR insights and needs.
- COVID-19 changed how the world operates and that’s when our legacy software transformed to cloud based SaaS software – Tempus Central, blending two decades of experience with the power of modern technology to deliver a truly unified workforce management platform.
